A Multi-Camera SLAM Framework Using Gaussian Splatting for High-Fidelity Mapping

Anonymous Author

SLAM System Pipeline

Our method performs real-time SLAM by fusing synchronized inputs from a multi-camera rig into a unified 3D Gaussian map. It first selects keyframes and estimates depth and normal maps for each camera, then jointly optimizes poses and depths via multi-camera bundle adjustment and scale-consistent depth alignment. Refined keyframes are fused into a dense Gaussian map using differentiable rasterization, interleaved with densification and pruning. An optional offline stage further refines camera trajectories and map quality. The system supports RGB inputs, enabling accurate tracking and photorealistic reconstruction.

Analysis of Single-Camera and Multi-Camera System

This experiment on the Waymo Open Dataset (Real World) demonstrates the effectiveness of our Multi-Camera Gaussian Splatting SLAM system. We evaluate the 3D mapping performance using three individual cameras, Front, Front-Left, and Front-Right, and compare these single-camera reconstructions against the Multi-Camera SLAM results.

The comparison highlights that the Multi-Camera SLAM leverages complementary viewpoints, providing more complete and geometrically consistent 3D reconstructions. In contrast, single-camera setups are prone to occlusions and limited fields of view, resulting in incomplete or distorted geometry. Our approach effectively fuses information from all three perspectives, achieving superior scene coverage and depth accuracy.

The search for "godzilla+2014+internet+archive" touches upon a fundamental shift in media consumption: If a film rotates off Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+, it might enter a "digital void" where it is difficult to access legally without paying for a physical disc or a high rental fee.

"It’s like excavating a ruin," says one digital archivist who curates a collection of 2014 Godzilla ephemera. "If you go to the archived version of the 'Muto Research' site, you can still see the 'seismic activity' warnings that were programmed into the code. It’s a time capsule of how studios tried to build hype before social media took over everything."

If you are venturing onto archive.org to find Godzilla content, here is how the "digital borrowing" process works: This includes: The "M

The intersection of Godzilla (2014) and the Internet Archive serves as a fascinating case study on how modern media interacts with digital preservation and accessibility. Just as Godzilla (2014) presented a reimagined take on a classic character, the Internet Archive reimagines how we preserve and access cultural artifacts.

Moreover, fans and enthusiasts may find related content on the , such as promotional materials, trailers, and even certain documentaries or films that influenced Godzilla (2014) . For example, classic Godzilla films, which are in the public domain or covered under specific copyright exemptions, can sometimes be found on the Internet Archive , offering a historical context to the evolution of the franchise and its cultural impact.

Analysis of Single-Camera and Multi-Camera SLAM (Tracking)

In this section, we benchmark tracking accuracy across eight driving sequences from the Waymo dataset (Real World). MCGS-SLAM achieves the lowest average ATE, significantly outperforming single-camera methods.
