Bimx Viewer Now

Architects can use BIMx to present projects to clients in an interactive, immersive environment. The ability to "walk through" the design instantly makes the project more understandable compared to static 2D prints. For Contractors: Paperless Construction Sites

Often referred to as the "best BIM app on the market," BIMx brings interactive 3D models and 2D documentation together, providing an intuitive experience that simplifies project communication. What is the BIMx Viewer?

BIMx Viewer supports multiple rendering modes to suit different needs. Options range from unlit and hidden line views for technical review to realistic and Pixel Lighting with SSAO (Screen Space Ambient Occlusion) for photorealistic presentations. This flexibility ensures that the model can be presented both as a technical document and as a compelling marketing or sales tool. bimx viewer

The viewer is equipped with powerful on-the-fly analysis tools. Users can perform to peer inside walls and complex assemblies, adjust sun positioning by date and time to study lighting and shadows, and utilize in-context measuring tools to verify dimensions directly on the model or on 2D layouts. These features allow site teams and clients to get immediate answers without needing to refer back to the architect for simple queries.

Available on iOS and Android devices, the mobile app is optimized for performance. It leverages device hardware to handle exceptionally large, complex models with millions of polygons. It is the preferred version for general contractors and site supervisors who need to reference architectural plans on-site. 2. BIMx Web Viewer Architects can use BIMx to present projects to

GRAPHISOFT continues to actively develop BIMx. Recent updates have focused on a new streaming 3D engine to handle models of any size, improved desktop performance, and expanding support for next-generation hardware like the Apple Vision Pro. As building design becomes increasingly complex and the demand for remote, mobile collaboration grows, tools like BIMx that bridge the gap between the "BIM expert" and the "project stakeholder" will only become more essential.

Contractors and subcontractors can access the full architectural model right from their tablets or smartphones. If a pipe location looks incorrect, they can measure distances digitally within the BIMx app, ensuring millimeter-accurate validation. 3. Sustainable, Paperless Sites What is the BIMx Viewer
