Simodrive 611 Error 607 -

If the drive was recently retrofitted or reconfigured, incorrect motor code settings, loop gains, or current limits will trigger this fault. Step-by-Step Troubleshooting Guide

“Not somewhere,” Markus sighed, pulling a worn schematic from his back pocket. “In the drive itself. The IGBT module. It’s the heart of the thing. When 607 pops up, it means the transistors that shape the current to the motor have essentially welded themselves shut.” If the drive was recently retrofitted or reconfigured,

[Isolate Error 607] │ ├───► 1. Check Power Paths (Cables, Plugs, Contactor) ├───► 2. Test DC Link Busbar (Tighten screws, Measure voltage) ├───► 3. Inspect Mechanical Axis (Check for physical jams) └───► 4. Isolate Hardware (Swap modules to track fault) 1. Inspect Physical Power and Phase Paths “In the drive itself

The Simodrive 611 system utilizes high-voltage DC Link buses (approx. 600V DC).

⚠️ When swapping components between identical adjacent axes (e.g., X-axis and Y-axis), do not manually rotate the motor shafts while cables are disconnected. Doing so will immediately erase the absolute encoder reference positions, leading to secondary 300800 orientation faults and requiring machine zero recalibration.

The high-voltage DC busbars link the infeed unit to individual LT axis modules. Loose connection screws, corrosion, or an outright failure of the DC link power supply directly limits the voltage available to output to the motor. 4. Excessive Mechanical Loading
