The story follows Shanaya Shekhar (Bipasha Basu), a reigning but fading Bollywood superstar who sees her career and personal life crumbling around her. Her downfall is accelerated by the arrival of a fresh-faced newcomer, Sanjana Krishna (Esha Gupta), who quickly usurps Shanaya’s position as the industry’s favorite. To make matters worse, Shanaya suspects her boyfriend, the handsome film director Aditya Arora (Emraan Hashmi), is also falling for her younger rival.

In her desperate quest for revenge, Shanaya seeks the help of a powerful black magician, Tara Dutt (Manish Chaudhari). She convinces a reluctant Aditya to help her by giving Sanjana a poisoned drink, which causes her to experience terrifying hallucinations designed to ruin her career and sanity. The plan, however, backfires as Aditya finds himself falling in love with the innocent Sanjana and decides to protect her from Shanaya's evil schemes.
